Resumes Publication

We’re back and we’re better.
Arts Hudson stopped publishing a print edition in April, 2020 due to the pandemic. First we were locked down and then people were reluctant to pick up print copies. To the right and below are some of our favourite covers from the last few years.
We continued to maintain an online presence at artshudson.org, where we had a steady stream of traffic. However, one of our most popular features, the Calendar of Events, is just not as accessible online as a magazine lying on the kitchen table.
With the demise of the Local Journal, Hudson groups and businesses have been finding it hard to get the word out. There are lots of things going on and some new businesses are not getting the attention they deserve.
After a number of discussions with supporters of the magazine, potential advertisers and our writers, we found that there might be a need for this kind of publication.
So what are we?
We will start by publishing quarterly, in December, March, June and September. The issues will be free to pick up at many Hudson locations.
We’re focused on the Hudson area, events happening here and organized by local groups.
We’ll cover local businesses, what they offer, what their plans are and why you should visit them.
Initially we’ll focus on food and drink establishments and stores. There is a lot going on.
The ads in this issue cover the costs of printing the magazine. Arts Hudson is a non-profit but we would eventually like to pay our writers. If you’re a business, you can support us by buying an ad at artshudson.org/ads or call us at 450-458-1319. Individuals can support us by buying a subscription at . Help make Hudson prosper and continue to be the little jewel it has always been.
