Heather Dubreuil will have a solo show of her "Cityscapes" at the Kirkland Library, February 8 - 27, 2014. Heather's work in fibre uses the transformative power of colour to turn everyday exteriors into works of sensuous and aesthetic delight.

            Sharing the space with Heather is "Synthesis II", a juried exhibit of 20 works by 16 members of the Central Canada region of Studio Art Quilt Associates. This show has been presented at many galleries throughout Ontario, but this is the first Quebec exhibit for SAQA, an international group of over 3000 art quilters.

            Come and see what contemporary artists are doing with cloth and stitch. You are invited to a vernissage on Sunday, February 9, 2 - 4 p.m. Kirkland Library, 17100 Hymus Blvd., Kirkland, QC. Hours are 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
